FAQs about Domestic Shipping - the Answers
The term shipping or ship includes the commencement of shipping items in an order for multiple purchases or where the item purchased consists of components that must be shipped separately. For example, your order may consist of (1) several different items, (2) a quantity of the same item, or, (3) a single item with several component parts the size of which might require them to be shipped in separate packages. In all such orders, we endeavor to ship out individual packages together so that they arrive at the same time; however, when that is not possible, we commence shipping by shipping individual packages in the order the soonest they are available and conditions permit. In these instances, our notification to you that your order has "shipped," marks the time when shipping has commenced; it does not mean that all items in the order have shipped at that time. All packages sent have a separate tracking number and may be independently followed. We will send you an email confirming the status of your order(s) and shipment(s). You agree that credit cards and debit cards are to be charged on the date of inventory reservation for the order, not the date of shipping.
Currently, we ship orders to all within Continental North America - all of Canada and all U.S. states and most international locations serviced by Canada Post, USPS or Priority Mail Express Service.
Shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico require Express Delivery. Express Delivery applies only to orders placed before 3:00 PM EST Monday-Friday.
Ancestry Solutions complies with specific shipping restrictions determined by international trading regulation, as well as those contractually set by our vendors from time to time. Prices may vary by country on select products. Select brands have vendor-imposed regulations, restricting them from shipment outside of Canada.
If you add one of these items to your cart and your shipping destination is international, you will be prompted to remove it before proceeding. If you wish to continue with the purchase, you will need to change the destination address to one in Canada.

Standard Delivery orders are shipped via standard ground service, and generally will arrive in 3-14 business days. If we need more clarification to process your order, it might take a few extra days.
Standard Delivery orders are shipped via standard ground service, and generally will arrive within 21 business days. We are unable to ensure faster ground delivery service due to any unforeseen delays experienced at the U.S. customs station and, in fact, receipt of your shipment may be delayed beyond 21 business days.
Your order will be fulfilled by the delivery date set out in the Shipping Confirmation or, if no delivery date is specified, then within a reasonable time of the date of the Shipping Confirmation, which could in exceptional circumstances be longer than 30 days.
Shipping charges* are calculated based on the total weight of your order and the distance and method of delivery that your order must be shipped across. Processing charges* are calculated based on the usual full price of any particular item. Neither shipping charges nor processing charges are increased or decreased by promotional discount pricing for clearance, sales or other specialty pricing that may be available on certain products from time-to-time.
For even faster delivery, we offer Next Business Day and Two Business Day Express Service (can be applied to orders placed before 3:00 PM EST Monday through Thursday and before 10:00 AM Friday).
Some of our larger items are delivered via Oversized Delivery*. Some additional shipping charges may apply based on the weight of the item and are in addition to any processing charges for your order; if applicable, they are shown in parentheses to the right of the Quantity field on the product page. (These charges are applied in addition to Standard Shipping and Processing charges for each oversized item.) Additional charges may accrue for orders over 15 pounds. If any additional fees are incurred, a Customer Service representative will contact you before any charges are applied to your credit card.
Some large and heavy items are delivered by our Through-the-door Truck Delivery* service, as indicated in the item description. These items will be shipped by a motor freight carrier and will be unloaded by the driver, and then placed inside the first-floor doorway, garage, or covered area of your choice. Truck Deliveries are typically made 1-2 weeks from the date of shipment between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. There is a 4-hour window for delivery. The minimum fee for Through-the-door Truck Delivery is $149 per shipment and are in addition to any processing charges for your order. To minimize cost, a custom delivery quote, based on the total shipping weight and destination of your order, will be provided during checkout. Standard Shipping/Processing Charges do not apply. Through-the-door Truck Delivery does not include unpacking or placement in room.
Select large and heavy items are delivered by our In-Home Delivery* service, as indicated in the item description. Upon delivery, our friendly delivery professionals will bring the item into your home, place it where you want it, inspect it, and remove packaging materials as needed. In-Home deliveries are typically made 2-3 weeks from the date of shipment between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. There is a 4-hour window for delivery. The minimum fee for In-home Delivery is $198 per shipment and are in addition to any processing charges for your order. To minimize cost, a custom delivery quote, based on the total shipping weight and destination of your order, will be provided during Checkout.
Your shipment confirmation email will contain a tracking number and a website link to the carrier assigned to your delivery. Simply enter your tracking number into the corresponding "Track Your Package" tool on the carrier's website.

All items purchased through the website are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon tender of the item to the carrier.
