- YOUNGSON - In loving memory of our dear husband, father and grandpa, George Robb Youngson, who passed away August 13th, 1954
We shall sit and think of him when we are all alone.
For memory is the only .........[illegible]
Like ivy on the withered oak
While all other things decay.
Our love for him will still keep green and never fade away.
Ever remembered by his wife Jean, daughter Helen, son-in-law Don, grandsons Danny and Ronald

Hi,
Thank you for your e-mail. I've taken a look at the entry and the
writing in the left hand column does not appear to refer to an RCE, but
rather to a 'Clerical Error' in one of the columns, although the writing
is so faint I am unable to make out which column. I hope this is of some
help.
Regards,
Roslyn Robertson

Issue: Incorrect/Illegible Image (cannot read)
Problem: Concerning the image of a marriage
1889 on the 27th day of July at Hillocks, Udny, Aberdeenshire, between
Robert Youngson, groom, and Helen Barclay, bride:
There is writing in the left-hand margin next to this certificate that I
am unable to read. I would appreciate it if you would advise me what
the writing says and if there is a "Register of Corrected Entries"
available, should the same be referred to in the illegible portion.
Thank you for your assistance.
