Isaac Hogarth 1736-1824 was born in Christchurch and died in Trinity, Trinity Bay Newfoundland. He was buried Nov 14, 1824. He married Dorothy Blanchard (1748-1830) of Trinity on May 16, 1775 in Trinity, T. Bay, Newfoundland. I have that they had 8 children:
1. Mary 1775-
2. Joyce 1778-
3. William 1782-
4. Elizabeth 1785-
5. Ann 1786-
6. James 1788-
7. John Snook 1792-
8. Sarah 1792-
Mary Hogarth, daughter of Isaac and Dorothy Blanchard, was christened Oct 14, 1778 and she married Henry Stone Oct 1, 1794. Henry and Mary Stone had 9 children. This is my connection to the Hogarth line and basically all I have on the Hogarth's at this point.
I am wondering, myself, who Isaac Hogarth's parents were, and who was the father of Dorothy Blanchard. I have Dorothy Blanchard's mother marrying a James Morely and he is usually listed as her father...however, Dorothy's mother Mary Blanchard was listed as a widow when she married James Morely and Dorothy was also born before this marriage...so, there is an unknown male Blanchard that apparently is Dorothy's father.
