  • Notes
    • Emily's husband, Henry Jenkins was a farmer. One of their children had a son named John, who circa 1991-1992 was accused, tried and convicted of the murder of an ex-beauty queen in Canterbury. According to George Gregory (the grandson of Thomas Gregory and Emma Austin) this John Jenkins was a quiet, married farmer and he does not believe that John could have committed so dastardly a crime.

Edward Jenkins, Emily's oldest child, drowned about age 19 while he was trying to save a friend during the first World War, circa 1915 or 1916. Ada Jenkins, is reputed to have been a nice woman and married a farmer by the last name of White. Ada had one son and the family may have lived at Stalisfield near Charing. Nothing is known of George and Harry.
