(1) to (2), for his homage and service, 1 small acre (unam parvam acram) in the vill of Woderon, namely that which Peter de Nanschoc held for some time (aliquamdiu), with all appurtenances, by bounds made between that land and land of Reginald le Bec, by a great dyke including that dyke to the great way dividing the land and land of Randulf le Summeter, by that way to bounds of Philip de Lantiam in that fee, by his bounds to the wood called Canslester, beside the wood of Cansclester to the ford of Rescledan, uphill beside the wood of Walgod to the way leading from the wood of Walgod to Voderon (per metas factas inter terram predictam et terram Reginaldi le Bec, per unum magnum fossatum cum toto fossato illo usque magnam viam que dividit inter terram illam et terram Rand' le Summeter, et ita per illam viam usque divisas Philippi de Lantiam in predicto feodo, et ita per divisas dicti Philippi usque boscum qui vocatur Canslester, et ita iuxta boscum de Cansclester usque vadum de Rescledan, et inde contra montem iuxta boscum de Walgod usque viam que tendit de bosco de Walgod usque Voderon).
For (2) and his heirs, or whomever he wishes to assign it to, to hold of (1) hereditarily and freely for ever. Rent 2s yearly at the fairs of Truru and of Sanctus Petrocus of Bodminia, for all service except royal tallage (salvo regali tallagio).
(1) has also granted to (2) to pay (aquietare) scutage out of that rent when it arises; and (2) shall have haybote (haibote) and ... for himself and his tenants dwelling in that vill, by view of the forester, and common pasture ... [throughout the vill, except] corn, meadows and gardens (...tis bladis pratis & ortis); also that (2) shall have 1 sow with ... in time of pannage (unam suem cum ... tempore panagii); and he need not pay suit of court [except] ... and Michaelmas; if he incurs penalties, no matter how often in one day, [he shall be quit by paying] 1 ... (si in emendis ceciderint quamvis multociens una die per un' ...); (1) may not take distraint [?] in that land of Woderon for ... (... end' est quod ego Osbertus nec heredes mei non possumus manum [?] capere in terra illa de Woderon pro ...); [when the king or lord wishes to make] his first-born son a knight (..acere filium suum primogenitum militem), (2) is bound to pay him 6d as an aid, and for his daughter (ad filiam) [on marriage]. (2) shall have 2 fowling-glades each year (duos v..letos in quolibet anno), one in the wood of Sewyhec and the other in the wood of ...; ... to pay fine of 6d (... finire per sex denar').

Note:
Compare the bounds of Goodern quoted from a deed of c.1270 (including also Osbert de Alba Landa) by Henderson, in Doble, Four Saints of the Fal.
The Goodern deeds (AR/1/963-7) certainly have nothing to do with Perlees manor, and apparently are present through the Lambourn inheritance, though it is doubtful whether the Arundells acquired any interest in Goodern through them.
