Phil and Doris Albert posted a Condolence | April 01, 2010 Jane, Doris and I send our sincere condolences to you and your family. As neighbours at the lake, we have respected the courage both you and John showed in his heroic battle with cancer. He was a strong man and we enjoyed talking with him when he was out on his walks. He was also a talented artist with wood and we will alway appreciate the beautiful book cover he made for us. Our prayers are with you in the days ahead and will be up to see you once we get back.

He was so gracious about all my kidding around being the brunt of allot of it. We had great talks and the family was always a part of those discussions. He was a loyal and dedicated professional, polite and very personable human being. I truly regret we weren't able to reunite He will not be forgotten. May God grant you strength in your memory of John.

John and you are special friends of ours, we seem to have a lot in common. We will always remember John for his friendship, his courage and his strength. We will never forget the dinners at Havalii's and all the laughs we had when square dancing, coming home in the middle of the night in a snow storm from somewhere in the laurentiens. These are times that we will remember, there are so many happy times to remember and that is what we have to focus on now. Jane, be strong, keep in touch and we will have to meet sometime soon at Havalii's for lunch. Love and God Bless, John & Helen Blaskie
