  Examination. 21 May 1716 Repository Somerset Heritage Centre Reference number Q/SR/275/8 Description Evidence given by William Stone of Taunton St James, fuller, apprentice to Elizabeth [Saffe], widow, in which he states that at the instigation of Henry and Thomas Shute and Abraham Gilbert, all of Hele, Bradford [on Tone], he defrauded his mistress and John Browne of several pieces of cloth.
