The 15 June 1825 I baptised Moise, born nine days ago of the legitimate marriage of Moise Lanteigne and of Anastasie Maurai. Godfather, Jude Lanteigne; Godmother, Claire Rolicheau who were unable to sign, the father absent, one (I cannot decipher the ending and will have to check it against other entries written by this priest).

The 24 January 1820 after the publication of one banns of marriage dispensing with the two others and one parent of a relationship of the third to the fourth degree and with the assent of the parents, I marry Moyse Lanteigne of full age, son of Jean Lanteigne and of Marie Parise, with Anastasie Morais, minor, daughter of Jacques Morais and of Marie Poulin, both of this parish, and they having borne the bridal blessing according to the custom of the Catholic church in the presence of Jean and Jules Lanteigne and of Jacques and Jean Louis Morai who, as well as the husband, were unable to sign.

The 7 January 1851 after the usual publication of the banns of marriage between Moyse Lanteigne and Dorothee Lanteigne of this parish, the parties having obtained an exemption for the third degree and for the third to the fourth degree of the by virtue of a standard licence received from Bishop Dorllard, by the (?) (this word is close to impossible to decipher however I suspect it refers to an edict or bill passed by the Pope) of Rome dated the 2 October 1842 A.D., I have received their mutual consent and of the parents, I grant to them the bridal blessing in the presence of [names of witnesses omitted]
