The 23 January 1839 ourself, the priest undersigned, baptised Phileas, born the day before, of the legitimate marriage of Eloi Galien and of Marie Chanard of this parish. Parrain, Driscol Bouthillier. Godmother, Modeste Galien who were unable to sign.

Marriage of Phileas Gallien & Theotiste Lanteigne:
The 9 January 1877 (year appears at the top of the page of photocopy), having made the publication of 3 banns of marriage between Phileas Gallien, widower of Henriette Doiron, deceased, of Caraquet, on the one hand; and Theotiste Lanteigne, of full age, daughter of Moise Lanteigne and Dorothie Lanteigne, deceased, also of Caraquet of the other part, and having granted to them an exemption for the third of the fourth degree of affinity, being unable to discover any other impediment, ourself having received their mutual assent to the marriage and they having received the bridal blessing in the presence of Joseph Lanteigne and Rose Parise.
