Marriage of Narcisse Gionet & Marie Lanteigne:
The 19 January 1880 (year appears at top of second page of the photocopy of this marriage) after the publication of three banns of marriage, made with praise of our parochial mass, between Narcisse Gionais and Mari Lanteigne of the parish of Caraquet, the parties contracting having procured a dispensation for the three of four and for the four of four double consanguinity, accordance by the undersigned by virtue of a licence given by his Holiness Monseigneur Jaques Eagers, Bishop of Chatham, ourself, the undersigned parish office, having received their mutual assent of marriage and them having given the bridal blessing in the presence of Joseph Gionais and Charlotte Lanteigne.
