  • Notes 
    • Authur lived in Peterborough and worked at Nashau Paper Company. In 1941 he moved to the St. Catharines area, working on the old Wei land Canal. For a while he lived with Elma (his sister) and George Wagar in Merritton. He secured a job with English Electric. His later work years were spent working at the Niagara-on-the Lake Hospital until his retirement in about 1980 or 81. In his retirement years he enjoyed bowling ten pin and doing handyman jobs.
      Before and during his retirement he was president of the Ladies Softball League for years. He was also president of the provincial women's softball organization for a long time. He coached softball for well over 30 years.
